Le management des émotions au travail : une reconsidération des pratiques organisationnelles,
Abstract
This qualitative study suggests revising the way in which the emotions in the current
managerial practices are managed.
A first suggestion tends to identify the modes of control of the display of emotions
for several type of trade and to call into question the command logic followed by the company.
The second suggestion enumerates on the one hand variables which facilitate the expression of
emotions in conformity with the normative requirements of the organization and in addition,
the variables which block the inappropriate expression or “organizationnally-sanctioned” (James, 1989).
Lastly, a synthesis of the results makes it possible to propose a new system of management of
emotions, applicable to the company, thanks to a realignment which makes it possible
to target the effective point of strategic action in terms of emotional management: the emotional dissonance experienced
by the employees at work.
